About The Position

The Talent & Community Partnerships Manager is responsible for driving frontline recruitment while building and sustaining strong community partnerships that create long-term, diverse talent pipelines. This role blends hands-on recruiting with external relationship management, workforce strategy, and employer brand advocacy. The ideal candidate is adaptable, people-centered, and energized by navigating an ever-changing labor market. This role serves as a connector between the organization and the community, talent and opportunity, short-term hiring needs, and long-term workforce sustainability.

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of experience in talent acquisition, workforce development, community engagement, or a related field.
  • Proven experience recruiting for frontline, hourly, or high-volume roles.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and adjusting strategies in a dynamic labor market.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • Passion for people, community impact, and inclusive hiring practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for frontline and hourly roles, from sourcing through onboarding partnership.
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies to meet hiring demands in a competitive and shifting talent market.
  • Partner closely with hiring leaders to understand workforce needs, timelines, and evolving skill requirements.
  • Monitor hiring trends, labor market conditions, and candidate expectations to adapt recruitment approaches in real time.
  • Ensure an inclusive, engaging, and efficient candidate experience.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with community organizations, workforce agencies, educational institutions, nonprofits, and local partners.
  • Represent the organization at job fairs, hiring events, community meetings, and outreach programs.
  • Create and manage talent pipelines through partnerships that support long-term workforce needs and diversity goals.
  • Collaborate with community partners to design programs such as internships, apprenticeships, return-to-work pathways, and referral pipelines.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, sharing the organization’s culture, values, and career opportunities within the community.
  • Support recruitment marketing and storytelling efforts in partnership with HR and Marketing.
  • Identify opportunities to improve talent attraction, engagement, and retention through community insights.
  • Gather candidate and partner feedback to continuously improve recruitment strategies.
  • Track and analyze recruitment and partnership metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline health, source effectiveness, partnership ROI).
  • Identify gaps and opportunities in talent pipelines and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Stay current on workforce trends, DEI best practices, and community-based hiring strategies.
  • Contribute to broader workforce planning and HR initiatives as needed.
