About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in identifying, engaging, and hiring top talent to support organizational growth. This position combines strategic sourcing, candidate relationship‑building, and consultative partnership with business leaders. The Specialist develops and executes innovative sourcing strategies, builds strong pipelines—especially among passive talent—and delivers a high‑quality candidate experience from first touchpoint through offer. Success in this role requires agility, curiosity, strong communication skills, and a passion for matching the right talent to the right opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in full‑cycle recruiting and/or strategic sourcing, with demonstrated ability to engage passive talent. Success in recruiting sales is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and consulting skills with the ability to build trust quickly with candidates and hiring managers.
  • A natural curiosity to gain a strong understanding of role requirements across the organization through shadowing and discussions with hiring managers.
  • Proficiency in competency‑based interviewing techniques and evaluation.
  • Hands‑on experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with strong attention to data accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret recruiting metrics, market data, and talent trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with agility in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Communicates Effectively: Ensures clear, concise, timely communication with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Collaborates: Builds strong relationships across the organization; works effectively with Human Resources and business partners.
  • Ensures Accountability: Delivers on hiring goals and maintains high process quality.
  • Instills Trust: Builds credibility and maintains confidentiality throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies using digital platforms, networking, market research, and professional communities. Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for active and passive candidates, focusing on hard‑to‑fill and high‑impact roles.
  • Candidate Assessment & Experience
  • Conduct structured, competency‑based interviews to evaluate qualifications and fit. Present high‑quality candidate slates to hiring managers and advise on selection decisions. Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication, professionalism, and transparency.
  • Hiring Manager & Stakeholder Partnership
  • Partner closely with Human Resources leadership and hiring managers to understand role requirements and talent needs. Provide market insights, sourcing recommendations, and consultative guidance throughout the hiring process. Partner with Office Manager and Director, Human Resources to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires and seek feedback to ensure successful integration into the organization.
  • Data, Tools & Process Management
  • Maintain accurate applicant and requisition data in the ATS; ensure data integrity and compliance. Analyze recruiting metrics to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
  • Branding, Networking & Talent Engagement
  • Participate in virtual and in‑person networking events, industry communities, career fairs, and related activities to expand talent reach. Promote the organization’s brand and culture while actively identifying opportunities to expand talent channels.
  • Adjacent Human Resources Contribution
  • Create and update effective, accurate job descriptions across departments to support hiring needs. Contribute to the Human Resources team by leading or assisting with special projects including the development of career leveling guides.
