At LiveOnNY, you’ll grow professionally while helping others live on. This is an in-office role. LiveOnNY seeks a Talent Acquisition Specialist: to join our team and support LiveOnNY hiring process. Responsible for the effective development, coordination and implementation of recruiting for the organization. Provides input to ensure that teams consist of qualified individuals. Ensures that staffing needs are being met with a long-term strategy in mind. Devises and implement sourcing strategies, such as an employer branding initiative, to build pipelines for potential applicants. Creates and implements end-to-end hiring processes to ensure a positive experience for candidates. Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear expectations for candidates and interviewers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or at least three years in a talent acquisition or similar role.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  • Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks.
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written.
  • Computer literate (e.g., Microsoft Office, SharePoint).
  • Ability to maintain a confidential nature of work.

  • Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Assist in developing effective testing and screening methodologies and conduct initial screening interviews.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs and define candidate selection criteria.
  • Utilize online platforms such as LinkedIn and other professional networks to attract qualified candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring leadership in the drafting of job descriptions and create interview questions aligned with position requirements.
  • Review CVs, portfolios, and references to compile lists of the most suitable candidates.
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, including interview notes and related documentation, for reporting and compliance purposes.
  • Participate in onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires into their respective departments.
  • Collaborate with Education and Training to ensure new hire orientation meets New York State and Federal guidelines and reflects job-specific requirements.
  • All employees are expected to actively participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.
