Summary: The Talent Acquisition Recruiter’s primary responsibility will be to support hiring managers in identifying candidates to fill BMET and related positions for our BMET Contracts as well as using various channels to look for potential candidates, contacting passive candidates, and building talent pipelines for future hiring needs.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform technical interviews at a fundamental level
  • Ability to learn and execute sourcing techniques (e.g., recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Exhibits effective and professional verbal and written communication with co-workers, candidates, outside agencies, partners, shareholders, and business associates
  • Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates
  • Effective time-management abilities
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Detail orientation and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Commitment to developing solid relationships with applicants to create a pipeline of candidates
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Social Media Platforms
  • Ability to embrace change, learn quickly, and thrive in a dynamic corporate environment
  • Works harmoniously within cross-functional teams to achieve common mission objectives
  • Basic understanding of relevant software, tools, and systems used in the corporate environment
  • 4 or more years experience with or within the BMET community
  • 4 or more years assisting transitioning military personnel or related experience
  • Understanding of recruiting, including sourcing, prescreening, interviewing, negotiation, and hiring candidates
  • Experience working with cleared professionals

  • Previous government or government contracting experience
  • Experience with iCIMS

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process for open requisitions, to include sourcing, qualifying, interviewing, evaluation, and offers
  • Proactively source BMET candidates using job boards, social media, internal databases, and networking strategies
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of entry to senior-level BMET professionals
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess technical and soft skills
  • Drive referrals from current employees and external networks
  • Promote the company brand by leveraging social media and partnerships with relevant communities (e.g., technical schools, electronics/mechanical, STEM programs and associations, etc.)
  • Maintain candidate database via the Applicant Tracking System
  • Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
  • Create and implement unique sourcing techniques to drive candidates to the positions
  • Provide each applicant with a highly positive candidate’s experience regardless of the outcome
  • Develop search strategies and build target lists of the top talent
