About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Partner shall serve The Navigators and fulfill the responsibilities listed below in the spirit of The Navigators calling, values and purpose: To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost. This position is responsible for both strategic and relational recruitment, paired with operational excellence and organizational discernment, to ensure recruiting remains both missionally faithful and professionally sound. The Talent Acquisition Partner executes full-cycle recruiting while guiding leaders and candidates through a consistent, warm process that reflects our disciplemaking culture.

Requirements

  • Belief in and adherence to the Statement of Faith and Mission of The Navigators.
  • Knowledge of Navigator missions, ministries, and networks required.
  • A mature follower of Christ with a clear personal calling to disciplemaking ministry.
  • Demonstrated cultural agility and ability to engage effectively across diverse, multi-ethnic contexts.
  • Two to four years of experience in full cycle recruiting.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, HRIS systems and Applicant Tracking systems required.
  • Proficient knowledge of employment law.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including verbal & written, to create understanding and build strong working relationships required.

Responsibilities

  • Execute full-cycle recruiting with excellence and care, stewarding the candidate journey from sourcing through offer with discernment, compliance, and alignment to HR policies and practices.
  • Contribute to organizational learning and improvement, identifying patterns, risks, and opportunities within recruiting activities and sharing insights that inform process refinement, leader support, and long-term talent stewardship.
  • Develop, implement, and execute innovative recruiting strategies that align with The Navigator’s Integrated Strategic Plan, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent.
  • Facilitate collaboration between HR, MPD, MarCom, and Mission POCs to ensure field recruiting is supported by consistent communications, shared tools, and coordinated efforts across the Navigators.
  • Actively engage in networking and thoroughly explore passive candidate networks across different markets to establish a robust pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Partner with mission leaders in discernment-based recruiting, clarifying role needs, competencies, and indicators of calling and fit, while guiding candidates and hiring teams through a consistent, relational, and mission-aligned process.
  • Meet recruitment metrics set from Talent Acquisition Supervisor in collaboration with mission leadership.
  • Create quarterly reports on recruiting metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coach and support hiring leaders and interview teams, strengthening interviewing skills, selection practices, and confidence in decision-making through guidance, tools, and shared accountability.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout the recruitment process and providing timely feedback.
  • Steward recruiting systems, tools, and insights, maintaining accurate data, monitoring pipeline health and metrics, and partnering with HR leadership to improve consistency, effectiveness, and candidate experience.
  • Stay up to date with the latest employment and labor laws, as well as recruitment best practices, to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinates Navigator recruiting events in partnership with HR Employment Experience team.
  • Participate in Navigators’ on-site learning and development events, Cultural Development and Diversity trainings, or other non-Navigator developmental events as appropriate.
  • Participate in annual processes, such as the organizational Plan and Progress Review (PPR), Engagement Survey, Reaffirmation of the Navigators Code of Conduct, Calling-Core Values-Vision, Statement of Faith, Driver’s Authorization, and other releases as required.
  • Submit time worked on a weekly basis through the Workday Time Tracking system.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
