The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for leading and managing the full life cycle of the Recruiting and Selection process including sourcing, interviewing and hiring high quality and diverse talent. The Talent Acquisition Partner collaborates with assigned Hometown Leaders and Managers on a regular basis to proactively understand current and future hiring and workforce needs. The Talent Acquisition Partner focuses on attracting talent, building relationships with coaches and team members, and delivering exceptional candidate experiences. This role is part of the Human Resources team. Here's more of what you will do... (Okay, not all in one day!) Recruiting and Selection Administration Manages the full life cycle Recruiting and Selection process while promoting a positive candidate experience and meeting the assigned Hometown team workforce hiring needs. Researches and sources candidates through search techniques and developing internal and external search strategies per position assignment. Utilizes multiple sourcing strategies including job boards, referrals, and networking to identify and hire high quality candidates. Stays active with current job boards, social networks and platforms to find talent. Reviews and evaluates inbound applicant profiles and applications via Workday (HRIS). Administers current open position candidate pools. Administers and develops candidate pipelines for high velocity roles. Works with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs, goals, and strategies. Performs a variety of selection and hiring tasks. Screens resumes, interviews qualified candidates, and determines if their skill level meets the desired qualifications. Performs phone screens and manages in person interviews. Maintains appropriate notes/records in Workday. Ensures all necessary reference checks and background screens are complete. Administers the pre-employment and on-boarding processes for the selection and hiring of new team members such as background checks, drug screens and employment verifications. Conducts a variety of candidate assessments as required for each role; assesses applicants for relevant knowledge, skills, abilities and experience. Communicates with applicants and new hires as they progress through the selection/hiring process. Ensures status updates to hiring coaches and Talent Acquisition team members are completed in a timely manner. Administers and schedules interviews with Hometown hiring managers. Implements and manages the established interview process to ensure consistent hiring practices and candidate experience. Schedules candidate phone/in-person interviews with hiring Coaches and prepares interview packets for each session. Follows up with hiring Managers to evaluate candidates, fit for role and selection. Manages and administers the Team Member Referral Program within their assigned Hometown. Prepares and shares offer documents and details with potential new hires, while answering any questions about the company, role and culture. Advises candidates of benefits of working at Andrews Distributing, highlighting features that excite and are relevant to candidates. Extends offers and follows up with newly hired team members. Coordinates hire dates and onboarding requirements; including new hire on-boarding and first day reporting to assigned teams. Relationship Management Builds effective and collaborative working relationships with assigned Hometown Leaders, Managers and team members to drive hiring strategies and initiatives. Partners with assigned Hometown Leaders and hiring managers to execute hiring strategies and determine essential hiring requirements of positions and establishes a timeline for action. Works collaboratively with Human Resources Leaders and team members across all Hometowns to drive cross-functional alignment and consistency of hiring, talent and other HR strategies, initiatives and processes. Works to form relationships with assigned Hometown Leaders and Managers to understand their departments, their hiring needs and job specifications. Continuously partners with Talent Acquisition team and Leaders to design, refine and implement innovative recruiting strategies. Builds relationships within the Hometown communities as appropriate to promote the Company’s reputation as a “best place to work” and “Employer of Choice”. Actively communicates with candidates and internal stakeholders to ensure all candidates have a positive experience regardless of the hiring decision. Serves as liaison with employment agencies, colleges and any other industry associations. Participates in recruitment functions such as job fairs, college career days and career events targeted at specific careers. Maintains the company career website and external job posting sites. Hiring and Workforce Data Management and Reporting Manages, administers and maintains a variety of HR systems and applications for sourcing, screening and candidate management. Utilizes Workday ATS for sourcing, screening and candidate management. Takes ownership of process improvements and troubleshoots processes. Prepares relevant management reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports. Drives continuous improvement of recruiting analytics and dashboards to track and report on key hiring metrics. Maintains the Workday database of candidate records (active and passive prospects) and hired and terminated team members. Maintains hiring statistics; completes weekly and monthly staffing reports for their assigned Hometown and shares with Hometown Leadership. Maintains company career website and external job posting sites. Compliance Remains current on federal, state and local employment law and applies knowledge appropriately in daily work. Ensures compliant recruitment practices and processing new applicant documents. Ensures compliance with all EEOC guidelines. Maintains confidentiality of all recruiting, staffing and applicant information and processes as appropriate. This is a leveled role; levels are determined by level of experience, skills and abilities specific to Recruiting and Talent Acquisition management expertise.
