About The Position

This role is a strategic and hands-on recruiting position, serving as the primary advisor to hiring managers on talent acquisition matters. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from defining role requirements and crafting job postings to sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top candidates. Your efforts will help shape a high-performing, collaborative team environment while delivering a seamless and engaging experience for candidates. You will leverage innovative recruitment strategies, employer branding, and market research to attract talent efficiently and effectively. Working cross-functionally with HR, business leaders, and operations, you will ensure alignment on hiring priorities and process improvements. This position involves travel for university events and conferences as needed, providing opportunities to represent the organization externally and build strong talent pipelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 4–6 years of recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare or physical therapy.
  • Proven ability to interview, assess, and select candidates while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
  • Strong communication, active listening, and influencing skills to collaborate with managers and candidates effectively.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, preferably iCIMS.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Coachable, organized, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality talent acquisition outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact and subject matter expert for hiring managers on recruitment processes and strategies.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define role scope, finalize job descriptions, select advertising channels, and determine interview processes.
  • Source and engage candidates through online platforms, social media, data mining, referrals, and recruitment marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct interviews, assess candidate fit, and manage offer negotiations while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Maintain and promote employee referral programs and ensure data integrity in the applicant tracking system.
  • Partner with onboarding teams to provide a smooth and effective transition for new hires.
  • Support and attend university events, conferences, and other outreach activities (approximately 20% travel).
  • Document best practices, provide process feedback, and participate in cross-functional projects as needed.
