About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading the company’s recruiting function by managing a team of recruiters, overseeing resources, and ensuring the delivery of top talent through strategic and hands-on recruiting efforts. This role will drive performance through reporting and metrics, maintain vendor relationships, and manage specialized programs for early careers and military recruiting. The TA Manager will work closely with business leaders to align recruiting strategies with organizational goals and ensure compliance with approved budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an individual contributor in recruiting or talent acquisition.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience managing recruiters or talent acquisition specialists required.
  • Proven ability to manage a recruiting team and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment metrics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to travel for recruiting events and conferences as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Relentless drive to find and connect with top talent.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of recruiters, providing coaching and guidance to achieve hiring objectives.
  • Oversee allocation of resources and workload across the recruiting team.
  • Ensure recruiting projects and programs adhere to approved budgets and optimize spend across vendors and events.
  • Actively participate in full-cycle recruiting to ensure a positive candidate experience. This role requires active sourcing and will not rely on incoming applications or external agencies as primary sourcing channels.
  • Screens resumes, evaluates assessment results where applicable, and conducts interviews to determine candidate fit.
  • Manage early careers and military recruiting programs, including partnerships with universities and military outplacement organizations.
  • Plan, organize, and attend recruiting events such as career fairs, networking events, and conferences.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with external vendors and recruitment partners.
  • Establish and maintain recruitment KPIs and dashboards to provide insights to leadership.
  • Aggregate performance metrics and workforce trends to influence hiring strategies.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and business leaders to align recruiting strategies with organizational goals.
  • Design and implement recruitment campaigns, including social media and event-based strategies.
  • Manage personnel actions including hiring, performance management, promotions, and corrective action for the recruiting team.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Perform other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
