About The Position

Sheridan Community Hospital is seeking a motivated and organized Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support our growing workforce needs. As critical access hospital serving a rural community, this role plays a key part in ensuring we attract and onboard high-quality candidates who support our mission of delivering compassionate, high-quality care close to home. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator manages the day-to-day recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for candidates and new hires. This role works closely with hiring managers, HR, and leadership to meet staffing needs efficiently and compliantly.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of HR, recruiting, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate full cycle recruitment activities including job postings, candidate communication, and interview scheduling
  • Assist hiring managers in reviewing candidates and coordinating interviews.
  • Manage pre-employment processes including background checks, fingerprinting, and physicals.
  • Track onboarding progress and ensure timely completion of all requirements.
  • Process new hires in HR systems (Paycom) including I-9 and E-Verify.
  • Coordinate and assist with new hire orientation.
  • Request IT access and ensure new employees are set up for success.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support job fairs and community outreach efforts.
