As a Talent Coordinator/Recruiter at ALH, you will play a crucial role in our mission to attract and hire top-tier talent for various positions within our organization while providing critical administrative support to the talent acquisition team.

Requirements

  • Highly organized and demonstrates ability to coordinate with complex schedules for interview purposes as well as updating various trackers and furnishing reports
  • Proven ability to recruit high-volume or entry-level roles in healthcare
  • Ability to evaluate candidates through the interview process for quality and alignment with team culture
  • Working knowledge on industry standards regarding pay, benefits, and other competitive compensation structures to attract top talent.
  • Technically savvy; previous experience working with ATS such as Green House or similar required; ability to navigate other tools including LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and other external recruitment outlets.
  • Proven experience in drafting professional job descriptions with accuracy on the scope of work.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong relationship-building and verbal communication skills; ability to handle high-volume and common talent recruitment questions
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with the team.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Communications, or related field required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience working as a talent recruitment coordinator or recruiter in a health-care setting hiring medical assistants, clinic supervisors, call center schedulers, front office coordinators, billing specialists, etc.
  • Must have valid documentation and authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.

  • Bilingual (fluent in Spanish and English) preferred
  • Human Resources certification preferred (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR or SPHR) or SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist other talent acquisition recruiters on the team with administrative functions such as scheduling and rescheduling interviews (through ATS and Outlook) and calendar coordination to ensure hiring teams and candidates are properly scheduled.
  • Ensure that candidates and hiring managers are confirmed to attend their scheduled interviews
  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment activities, including application review, sourcing candidates (as needed), screening interviews, drafting job offers, and launching background checks for high-volume or entry-level positions within the organization (including permanent and temporary positions).
  • Manage the ATS (from job ad drafting to completed interview scorecards/notes) and ensure that qualified internal and external applicants are properly followed up within a 24-hour period for assigned roles.
  • Partner with assigned hiring managers to understand the role scopes, review/edit job descriptions and ensure that they are properly updating applicant status in a timely manner (including submission of interview notes/scorecards).
  • Serve as a point of contact for virtual assistant recruitment-related inquiries from all departments and hiring managers
  • Assist in updating staffing reports as necessary to ensure that the internal team, managers and senior leaders are properly communicated about their candidate statuses and project-based hires
  • Ensure talent inbox is managed and inquiries are followed up with in a timely manner
  • Triage and follow-up of emails to the respective stakeholders to ensure requests are answered and followed up in a timely manner
  • Assist in training hiring managers (new and current) in the use of our applicant tracking system and other recruitment tools.
  • Assists team in drafting, sending, and proper filing of internal offer letters and job descriptions on behalf of the talent team
