About The Position

Mainstay Medical is a medical device company focused on marketing an innovative implantable neurostimulation system, ReActiv8®, for people with disabling chronic mechanical Low Back Pain. The company is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, with subsidiaries operating in the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Germany. The Talent Acquisition Associate provides hands-on recruiting support for a temporary, approximately three-month assignment to assist Mainstay Medical during a defined hiring initiative. This role supports the recruitment process from sourcing through offer stage, helping the Talent Acquisition team efficiently attract and hire top talent while delivering a seamless and engaging candidate experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable stepping in quickly to support core recruiting activities such as sourcing, interview coordination, and recruiting administration. This role is execution-focused and well-suited for someone who can operate independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal ramp-up time.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, recruiting coordination, or a related HR role.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to quickly adapt, prioritize, and contribute in a short-term, project-based role.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in life sciences, medical technology, biotech, or other high-growth industries strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to understand position requirements, business needs, and target candidate profiles.
  • Source and attract qualified candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, and other established sourcing channels.
  • Review resumes and conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, including communication with candidates and hiring teams to ensure a smooth and timely process.
  • Prepare and manage offer letters, working closely with HR Partners and hiring managers to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Initiate and track background checks and other pre-employment requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and workflows within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Communicate regularly with candidates to provide updates, next steps, and a positive candidate experience.
  • Support recruiting operations and administrative tasks as needed to ensure timely hiring outcomes during the contract period.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency within recruiting workflows and processes during the assignment.
