About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Assistant supports the Talent Acquisition Director and team with overall departmental support. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in various areas, including job fairs, supply management, event coordination, and special projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our recruitment efforts and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Duties of the Talent Acquisition Assistant may include but are not limited to: Job Fair Assistance: Assist in planning and organizing job fairs, including venue selection, registration, and promotional materials. Coordinate logistics for team attendance at job fairs, including travel arrangements, booth setup, and staffing schedules. Provide on-site support during job fairs to ensure smooth operations and positive candidate experiences. Supply Management: Maintain inventory of recruitment materials and office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels. Place orders for supplies as needed to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness. Monitor budget allocations for recruitment-related expenses and provide regular updates to the team. Event Management: Assist in planning and executing various recruitment events, such as open houses, networking sessions, and campus visits. Coordinate event logistics, including venue booking, catering, audiovisual setup, and guest accommodations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure events are well-coordinated and aligned with organizational goals. Partner with the University Relations team on any assistance needed for events. Special Projects: Support the Talent Acquisition team on special projects, such as process improvements, diversity initiatives, and employer branding campaigns. Flexibility to take on ad hoc tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the Director and team's objectives. Support large scale projects such as Intern Onboarding, Resident Onboarding, and events.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree and 6 months experience in a human resources administrative support role.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Office applications, Word, PowerPoint, Advanced Excel, Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Must be a team player who can work in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft, Taleo and/or other HR Information Systems.
  • Experience in a Healthcare or Hospital System Human Resources.
  • Bachelors degree
