About The Position

As a Table Games Dealer Trainee at MGM Resorts International, you will embark on a training program designed to equip you with the skills to deal various casino games, including Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, and Baccarat. The core of this role involves delivering exceptional guest service, accurately managing game transactions, and upholding the integrity of play. You will learn to communicate effectively with both guests and supervisors, ensuring a professional and engaging experience at the table. Successful completion of this program is a direct pathway to a career as a Table Games Dealer at the MGM National Harbor property. The training program is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, with classes running for 8 hours a day, Tuesday through Friday. Participants can choose between two shifts: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm or 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm. There are two program lengths available: a 6-week program focusing on Blackjack and Roulette, and a 9-week program covering Blackjack and Craps.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to pass a basic math test.
  • Ability to attend all training classes.

Responsibilities

  • Learn to deal popular casino games with accuracy, professionalism, and energy in a live-paced learning environment.
  • Practice delivering exceptional guest experiences, building confidence in communication and service standards.
  • Understand and apply rules, procedures, and regulations to ensure fairness, accuracy, and a safe gaming environment.
  • Learn how to accurately manage game transactions such as fills, credits, chip exchanges, and markers to ensure integrity of the game.
