About The Position

Boyd Gaming Corporation is a premier casino entertainment company in the United States, committed to evolving and maintaining leadership in the industry. Belterra, a property of Boyd Gaming, offers a free Table Games Dealer Class, providing a pathway to an exciting new career in the casino industry. This class is considered On Call/Seasonal and will run from May 10th, 2026, to July 7th, 2026. Classes are scheduled for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 2 PM to 10 PM. Attendees will receive $15 hourly during the training period. Upon completion of the class, an audition will be administered. Successful candidates who pass the audition will then be eligible to apply for open dealer positions.

Requirements

Pass a basic math assessment (External Candidates).
Successfully complete an interview assessment (External Candidates).
Demonstrate exceptional guest service skills including a positive demeanor and calm, steady temperament (External Candidates).
Demonstrate and maintain strong ethical standards (External Candidates).
Must be proficient in the English language (External Candidates).
Must be able to successfully complete the gaming process and obtain a level 2 gaming license and maintain license (External & Internal Candidates).
Must be a current Team Member in good standing (Internal Candidates).
Must be able to perform basic mathematical functions.
Must be able to obtain and maintain all appropriate licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
Must be at least 21 years of age.

Provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.
Provides prompt, accurate, and courteous service to players, utilizing the highest degree of technical skill in dealing while adhering to established standard policies and procedures.
As called upon, explains aspects of various games to gaming patrons.
Processes all cash and maintains proper handling and accounting for assigned property items.
Maintains familiarity with other gaming and entertainment/service activities for Belterra Casino Resort & Spa patrons, in order to provide information and correct answers to questions.
Maintains an intimate and sound understanding of all standards, policies, and procedures, including general policies and procedures of the Table Games Department.
