About The Position

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Learn how to respond to visual and oral signals from customers and fellow employees. 2. Learn how to toss dice, move chips, and manipulate craps sticks accurately. 3. Keep track of the game and players’ actions. 4. Perform quick basic math calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, to accept bets, pay winners, and collect from losers. 5. Responsible for the protection and control of the game being dealt. 6. Maintain a superior and courteous atmosphere, providing the customer with a pleasant gaming experience. 7. Maintain effective working relationships and good customer service skills with all guests and employees. Provides personal attention and assistance to customers by verifying customer winnings and explaining gaming rules and regulations. Acts to keep customers satisfied and motivated to return regardless of if they win or lose. 8. Wears and maintains all uniforms properly, including nametag and gaming license. 9. Maintains alertness for the performance of all responsibilities and a general awareness of casino operations at all times. Verifies customers are 21 years of age or older. 10. After completion of a 180-day introductory period as a Craps dealer, must complete training for Roulette, Blackjack, and House Poker to continue employment. Once this training is completed, Dealers are eligible for promotion to Dual Rate Supervisor. Supervising is a requirement of Full Time employment. 11. Performs duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, internal policies and procedures, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations. Includes special attention to underage gaming as well as recommendations to Table Games Supervisors in reference to alcohol consumption by patrons. 12. Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business. 13. Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.

Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for an entire work shift with standard breaks.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills and uphold 4-star standards.
  • Demonstrated ability performing basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License.
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must have a willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
