About The Position

Support the Table Games Manager with all company standards, policies, and procedures. It is the responsibility of the Table Games Administrator to maintain a detailed database of all Team Members in the Table Games department while providing excellent guest service. All duties are to be performed in accordance with regulations, as well as department and Company policies, practices, and procedures, within the framework and intent of Gun Lake Casino Resort.

Requirements

  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Guest Service.
  • Minimum of two years in an administrative support position.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in payroll. ADP experience preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of Supervisory experience in a supportive team environment preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel. Additional knowledge of CMS and New Wave software.
  • AS/400/Infinium program experience preferred.
  • Strong keyboarding and typing skills with a minimum of 45 wpm net.
  • Excellent guest service and hospitality skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and listening skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to multi-task several activities and duties simultaneously.
  • Ability to function and work independently making decisions based on the facts presented.
  • Ability to work well with people, in a team environment, and to communicate effectively both in written & oral form.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, under short time constraints, and within established deadlines.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including extended hours, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Gun Lake Casino Resort's “Unsurpassed Service” Standards at all times.
  • Safeguard company assets.
  • Responsible for various clerical functions defined by the Table Games Manager.
  • Maintains a detailed database of all Team Members in the Table Games department ensuring the policies and procedures of Gun Lake Casino Resort.
  • Manage, direct, and supervise all Pit Clerks.
  • Responsible for training of new Pit Clerks and ongoing training of current Pit Clerks.
  • Review and approve vacations and time off requests from Pit Clerks.
  • Complete all duties and responsibilities of a Pit Clerk as needed.
  • Analyze daily, monthly, and annual High Impact Players.
  • Compose meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form.
  • Have basic knowledge of bookkeeping; how to use common office equipment.
  • Have basic understanding of gaming and regulatory requirements.
  • Have basic math, verbal, and sorting skills.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all matters and keeps records and confidential files.
  • Generates and delivers daily and weekly schedules (sign-in sheets and road maps) for Table Games.
  • Collects sign-in sheets.
  • Tracks attendance and tardiness and generates appropriate forms.
  • Resolves payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Track vacation time availability.
  • Track Leave of Absence time utilized.
  • Tracks and maintains inventories for all gaming supplies, equipment, forms, and office supplies.
  • Generates performance evaluations and training reports that indicate completion and due dates.
  • Promotes and maintains the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
