Together we continue to grow as the world’s leading energy company! About the role The TA Wholesale Growth Coordinator is the heart of commercial growth for the TA wholesale business. The region spans across the entire US and includes both franchising & fleet opportunities. The markets and operational landscape are constantly evolving, and there are abundant optimization opportunities for the commercial-minded person who loves to problem solve to deliver real value quickly and deliver a customer experience that gives the TA brand a competitive edge. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Relevant experience in supply, fuel sales, and trading.
  • Proven commercial decision-making and analytical skills, preferably in extracting value from sophisticated supply chains
  • Validated ability to build networks and work with diverse teams with varying objectives
  • Understanding of, or ability to learn quickly, bp and industry footprint and regional sales volumes
  • Ability and confidence to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Able to assimilate and react to large amounts of diverse information and the confidence to lead sales risk-based discussions
  • Strong focus on performance delivery, passion to play to win to find and unlock commercial value while strongly advocating for bp’s non-financial goals
  • Strong One Team approach to always make the best decision for bp
  • Natural leader of cross functional teams across reporting lines
  • Thinks long term and makes suggestions on future investment/deals that support bp’s long-term aspirations

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of Fuel Supply, Logistics Operations, Fuel Sales or similar role is preferred
  • Supply chain management – Master application, understanding of the storage, transport, and marketing of hydrocarbon fuels and ability to formulate a integrated financial sales view
  • Commercial performance management – Skilful application, understanding how commercial value is generated in fuel supply, sales, and trading
  • Contract management – Skilful application, understanding of how fuel trades, basic contract terms, and optionality
  • Competitor, industry, and customer focus – Skilful application, understands TA and competitors’ regional assets, advantages, and flexibility to create opportunities to give TA a competitive advantage
  • Trading concepts - Skilful application, understand of deal terms, market structures (contango, backwardation), delivery terms, pricing, exposure, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a cross-functional team of commercial sales, franchise sales, fleet sales, logistic operators, pricing analysts, trading to deliver significant growth in the TA Wholesale business.
  • Owns the fuel supply relationship with franchise customers, fuel supply assurance process, and contract compliance
  • Develop and deliver the short-term opportunities while also leading a thorough longer-term sales growth strategy
  • Work closely with finance, & digital organization to deliver future financial metric tracking and overall performance scorecard
  • Play a key role in coordinating with the TA admin team in the development of strong back-office assurance processes, enabling a strong customer relationship.
  • Responsible for maintaining and tracking an overall prioritized hopper of wholesale opportunities consisting of ideas across T&S, Franchise, Fleet, & B2B
  • Meet the supply reliability, quality and inventory targets set by the business, working closely with the operations team to develop a feasible supply plan, drive performance, and intervene if needed.
  • Lead the coordination and understanding of the overall bp integrated value across all businesses
