Job Description Summary We are seeking a dedicated Systems Solutions Consultant that will provide end-to-end solution management for pharmacy automation and outpatient pharmacy portfolio. This role will ensure customer experience is a priority from pre-sales to post implementation. The role will consult with customers on the best way to implement and optimize retail, ambulatory, and long-term care pharmacy automation solutions. Job Description What is expected of you for success in your role: Embodies characteristics in line with the BD WAY that includes values, mindset, and leadership commitments as we work together to fulfill our purpose of advancing the world of health™ Excels in a fast-paced healthcare sales-support role Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the healthcare industry, including both LTC based as well as care continuum medication management and supply chain processes. Has thorough knowledge of pharmacy and materials management practice/workflows, and BD’s pharmacy automation dispensing solution. Maintains deep solution expertise for the outpatient and long-term care pharmacy specialties. A background in retail/outpatient pharmacy operations/workflow design is a must. Long-term care experience preferred. Expertly performs complex customer current state assessment and creates a compelling future state case to meet customer’s strategic objectives/vision. Ensures customer strategic goals and implementation of solutions are aligned across the business. Effectively communicates and collaborates with team members (internal and external) to drive alignment on recommendations and proposed solutions. Engages appropriate implementation resources to support successful implementation based on customer stated goals and objectives. Remains point of contact through the completion of the engagement. Possesses dynamic presentation skills and excellent business writing skills. Demonstrates customer centricity Displays critical thinking, having a global and company mindset, focusing on results, skill growth, and continuous improvement Strategically works with sales and customer service organization to prioritize activities. Collaborates with implementation and support service resources to ensure customer is optimizing/applying solutions to achieve strategic goals and objectives identified at beginning of project, if applicable. Handles multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizes tasks based on organizational need and judgment, and is productive working independently in remote office situations. Exhibits a bias toward action, is self-motivated, and a self-starter. Mentors internal staff regarding best demonstrated practices.
