About The Position

Our team, Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC)- Global team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies. As leaders of the C2BMC team, Lockheed Martin partners with industry leaders to develop and field the backbone of America's missile defense. Our national team supports the design, development, testing, integration, and fielding of hardware and software elements essential for the effective operation of the Missile Defense System (MDS). You will have opportunities to interface directly with key customers, including the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). At C2BMC, you will work alongside a talented team of technical professionals, including software and systems engineers, architects, and project engineering teams at our Huntsville facility. Requirements

  • An Active DoD Final TS Clearance is required prior to starting
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex system issues
  • Knowledge of virtualized environments, including configuration and management
  • Experience with software testing and integration of system components within test environments
  • Familiarity with security design and implementation principles

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Common Data Services (CDS) Integration
  • Experience with deployment, configuration control, deployment and testing of Radiant Mercury Configuration (including Rules)
  • Advanced experience working with Linux operating Systems
  • Proficiency in bash and Python scripting
  • High-level understanding of automation concepts and implementation
  • Proven experience with Ansible or other automation tools
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
  • Knowledge of cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development, configuration control, deployment, and testing of Radiant Mercury Configuration (including Rules) with a primary emphasis on Common Data Services (CDS) integration.
  • Ensure seamless CDS implementation, configuration, and maintenance, and may be required to travel to remote locations to perform CDS installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting in accordance with Program configuration management processes
  • Integrating JEMINI Lab test suites in our development and test environments
  • Assisting software development personnel with the investigation and resolution of issues; develop configurations to support test and prototypes of developing systems
  • Creating and modifying scripts to perform data analysis of input, internal, and output message data
  • Troubleshooting both test and prototype issues; develop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documents; review and provide feedback of system specifications, development, test, network documents as necessary, and represent the Integration team
  • Automating scripting to configure and maintaining remote hosts
