The Work Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems has an opportunity in Liverpool, NY for a Systems Engineer Sr. Staff supporting the MK-48 Torpedo, Thin Lined Towed Array Handling System (TLTAHS) or NextGen SURTASS and Saildrone array USW programs. As a member on our Systems Engineering team, you can help us take on the world’s most important and complex challenges by working on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious. You will collaborate with a diverse team of technical professionals. The successful candidate will be flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking. The systems engineer in this role will be responsible for applying advanced technical principles, techniques, theories and concepts and contributing to the development of new principles and theories. Who you are The Systems Engineer will need to be a self-starter and will be able to perform architecture definition, requirements decomposition, technical planning, integration, verification and validation, requirement sell-off, and customer interaction. Having a product line mindset and understanding interconnections between requirements, architecture, and analyses is critical. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, and 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
Experience with development of new requirements specifications, flow down of requirements.
Experience with system requirements management .
System Integration and Test Experience.
Proven Leadership Experience (3 years or more).
Requirements Trace Verification Matrix Development (RTVM).
Customer Interface (Internal & External).
Development of requirements verification plans and test procedures.
