Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Systems Integration and Test Engineer - Early Career. In this role, you will: Support mechanical test and integration early planning activities for mechanical ground support equipment Support Design for X (DfX) activities to support ATLO (Assembly Test and Launch Operations) including testability and producibility. Support high production planning efforts. Plan, implement, and maintain systems for high volume production of spacecraft. Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable processes and standards, including CIPS (common integrated process solutions). Support development of production oriented test procedures, MWI (manufacturing work instructions), VWI (visual work instructions), and standard operating procedures compliant with ATLO common processes (Foreign object elimination, drop mitigation, cleanroom protocol, etc.). Support execution of production and launch operations for small satellites.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
  • Project experience
  • Excellent technical writing, planning and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build solid relationships with team members
  • U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain DOD Secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in hands-on engineering
  • Previous Manufacturing or Production Line experience
  • Experience in a firm fixed priced, schedule driven production environment
  • Experience with Creo, CreoView, or Model Based Visual Work Instructions
  • Willingness to work overtime & travel, supporting off-shifts and weekends as needed.
