About The Position

We’re looking for a Systems Integration & Automation Specialist to own the tech backbone that connects our warehouse, ecommerce platforms, and internal tools. This isn’t just about using systems - it’s about making them work beautifully together. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and be based within the U.S. You’ll design, maintain, and optimize the automations and data flows that keep orders, inventory, fulfillment, and client information moving seamlessly across platforms like ShipHero (WMS), Shopify, and other connected systems. As our volumes grow, your mission will be to keep these workflows stable, scalable, and lightning-fast. This role sits at the intersection of technology, operations, and ecommerce- you’ll be the quiet force that ensures everything behind the scenes runs like clockwork.

Requirements

  • 2+ years working with a WMS or fulfillment system (ShipHero, NetSuite WMS, or similar)
  • Experience with API integrations (REST, JSON, webhooks, authentication)
  • Hands-on with automation tools like Make, Zapier, or n8n
  • Background in Shopify or multi-store ecommerce operations
  • Confidence in reading API documentation and building integrations independently
  • Strong systems-thinking mindset and sharp problem-solving skills
  • Experience with cloud environments or hosted service platforms
  • Clear, collaborative communicator who can turn technical concepts into practical steps

Nice To Haves

  • Experience integrating ERPs or WMS systems in high-volume ecommerce
  • Familiarity with warehouse ops – from inventory audits to fulfillment KPIs
  • Experience with containers, hosting, or deployment pipelines
  • Background in process or solutions engineering

Responsibilities

  • Systems Ownership
  • Guarantee reliable, real-time automation and system-to-system data flows
  • Proactively monitor for data mismatches, workflow breaks, and system failures
  • Integrations & Automation
  • Build and maintain API integrations, webhooks, and automation workflows
  • Use tools like Make, Zapier, or n8n - or roll up your sleeves with custom code - to eliminate manual work
  • Design scalable workflows for order routing, inventory sync, shipping logic, and special order handling
  • Troubleshooting & Optimization
  • Diagnose and resolve cross-platform issues with precision
  • Debug API errors, data sync problems, and integration failures
  • Continuously refine processes to boost reliability, speed, and fulfillment accuracy
  • Infrastructure Touchpoints
  • Oversee the environments where integrations live (cloud services, containers, automation platforms, servers)
  • Understand deployment pipelines and how to keep systems running smoothly and securely
  • Collaboration & Support
  • Partner with Operations, Ecommerce, and IT to evolve our system architecture
  • Train colleagues on workflows and best practices
  • Create clear documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides to keep knowledge flowing
