About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to support the technical planning, integration, and validation of complex systems across their entire lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting rigorous systems engineering analyses—from initial concept development through design, fabrication, testing, installation, operation, maintenance, and eventual disposal. This role requires a strong understanding of hardware and software integration, requirements analysis, and the ability to translate customer needs into viable, cost-effective system solutions. This position is designed to be flexible, with responsibilities evolving to meet business needs and enable individual growth.

Requirements

• TS/SCI (will need to obtain a CI Poly)
• Experience in performing technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Understanding of the full systems engineering lifecycle from concept through disposal.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills accompanied with the proven ability to build and maintain partnerships
• Degree in Computer Sciences, Systems Engineering, Systems Analysis, or related disciplines.
• MA/MS degree with 13+ years of relevant experience, OR BA/BS degree with 15+ years of relevant experience in a discipline aligned with the position’s responsibilities.
• Experience in evaluating research performance metrics and working with scientist on research projects.
• Experience in coordinating testing & evaluation or research efforts, writing training and test plans, and transitioning research into operational environments.
• Experience in collaborating with IC and DoD agencies on research projects in relevant areas.
• Demonstrated oral and written communications, including the ability to prepare briefings of technical material to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in planning and tracking progress of complex technical projects and coordinating technical exchange meetings and working groups.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
• Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
