About The Position

The Opportunity: Support the sustainment, reliability, maintainability, and availability for the Satellite Control Network (SCN). Support communication systems that link satellite operations centers with worldwide remote satellite tracking stations. Support commercial satellite manufacturers to test satellite communications compatibility with the SCN.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance.
• Must be US Citizen.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, math or equivalent.
• Zero to three years of related experience with:
• Requirements management and functional analysis.
• Using analysis tools (MS Excel entry and graphing).
• Working with engineering/project teams.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, perform a variety of specific engineering tasks of analysis, design, or test nature.
• Help develop and maintain an active Obsolescence program, supporting SCN sustainment.
• Perform obsolescence analysis activities on system configuration items (CI) in support of overall SCN system sustainment.
• Write Engineering Analysis with recommendations to the Government.
