Join us and make a difference in National Security! Overview We are seeking a Systems Engineer with experience across the full system engineering lifecycle , from concept through sustainment. This role includes developing and maintaining technical documentation and supporting Systems Administration (SA) and GOTS products . The ideal candidate is adaptable, willing to learn, and effective in a small, mission-focused team that regularly collaborates with users, customers, and partner teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 4 years, or PhD with 2 years, or no degree with 10 years of relevant experience
  • Strong Systems Administration (SA) experience
  • Strong Linux experience, including installation, configuration, and management
  • Experience with authentication/authorization (FreeIPA/Active Directory)
  • Experience with STE/STN environments
  • Experience installing and maintaining GOTS software
  • Strong testing and troubleshooting skills, including scripting (Bash/Python)
  • Clearance Required: Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with shared storage solutions
  • Experience with virtualization and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Data flow experience
  • Familiarity with Ansible or SALT
  • Experience with Helm charts, YAML, or DevOps practices

Responsibilities

  • Support all phases of the system engineering lifecycle from concept through sustainment
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and drawing packages
  • Install, configure, and manage Linux-based systems (RedHat/CentOS/Rocky)
  • Support and maintain GOTS software solutions
  • Configure and manage STE/STN systems in connected and disconnected environments
  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, users, and customers to support mission needs
