Join us and make a difference in National Security! Overview We are seeking a Systems Engineer with experience across the full system engineering lifecycle, from concept through sustainment. This role includes developing and maintaining technical documentation and supporting Systems Administration (SA) and GOTS products. The ideal candidate is adaptable, willing to learn, and effective in a small, mission-focused team that regularly collaborates with users, customers, and partner teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 4 years, or PhD with 2 years, or no degree with 10 years of relevant experience
  • Strong Systems Administration (SA) experience
  • Strong Linux experience, including installation, configuration, and management
  • Experience with authentication/authorization (FreeIPA/Active Directory)
  • Experience with STE/STN environments
  • Experience installing and maintaining GOTS software
  • Strong testing and troubleshooting skills, including scripting (Bash/Python)
  • Clearance Required: Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with shared storage solutions
  • Experience with virtualization and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Data flow experience
  • Familiarity with Ansible or SALT
  • Experience with Helm charts, YAML, or DevOps practices

Responsibilities

  • Support all phases of the system engineering lifecycle from concept through sustainment
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and drawing packages
  • Install, configure, and manage Linux-based systems (RedHat/CentOS/Rocky)
  • Support and maintain GOTS software solutions
  • Configure and manage STE/STN systems in connected and disconnected environments
  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, users, and customers to support mission needs
