Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Summer 2026 System Engineering Intern for the Integrated System Evaluation team. In this role, you will support flight test and lab test by supporting data collection and creating new data analytics tools for use in analysis to characterize and evaluate aircraft performance to provide feedback to developers, pilots, engineers, and leadership. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of how to create data analytics, visualizations, and have an understanding of how to perform data analysis. Must be a US Citizen; This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, data science, software development, or similar STEM degree.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • This position will require a government security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in agile methodologies
  • Experience using quantitative models, risk management techniques, analytical tools, Windows based systems, and MS Office products
  • Strong oral & written communications skills, analytical thinking and physical science/engineering problem solving skills
  • Willingness to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Good multitasking abilities
