Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Skunk Works is seeking a Summer 2026 Intern – Systems Engineering in support of Joint All Domain Operations (JADO). In this role, you will use the latest systems engineering tools to capture complex architectures, hardware and software to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies into next gen command and control systems. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of requirements management and basic systems engineering applications to capture mode-based designs and facilitate lifecycle management. Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Systems Engineering
  • Coursework or familiarity with mission analysis, system architecture / design, lifecycle management, and/or systems integration
  • Demonstrated coursework or familiarity with requirements development and management
  • Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

  • Model-based systems engineering (MBSE) / Cameo Experience or Course Work
  • Matlab/Simulink/python
  • Use of System Engineering Lifecycle reviews in a design project
