We are seeking an Infrastructure Service Engineer to join our SETC Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) team in Richardson, TX. Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience deploying, configuring, supporting, and/or optimizing servers whose primary functions include storage, networking, and/or computation/processing.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience on a technical team that delivers a product
  • Understanding peer review, configuration, and change management processes.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow (Scrum Master training preferred).
  • Experience working within an Agile/SCRUM/DevOps delivery model.
  • Knowledge of virtual provisioning of compute, network, storage and various infrastructure services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct Engineering support to a large scale on-prem private cloud with datacenters around the world
  • Contribute to delivering and maintaining operations/dev/test systems across multiple tenants within our enterprise.
  • Work with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers who lead the industry in ground-systems solutions.
  • Assist external tenants by resolving issues and guiding them through future environment changes.
  • Contribute to system maintenance, installation, and problem resolution.
  • Research and resolve system-design issues.
  • Translate requirements and design specifications into component design and implementation.
