About The Position

You will be the Systems Engineer (Fluids) - Level 3 for the Fluid and Mechanical Systems Team which is responsible for supporting the F‑35 program. What You Will Be Doing As the Systems Engineer (Fluids) - Level 3 you will be responsible for delivering high‑performance hydraulic, fuel, and fire‑protection system solutions throughout production, testing, and field support. Your responsibilities will include: Develop and maintain system architecture layouts for fluid subsystems. Coordinate with supporting suppliers to ensure technical requirements are met. Support development, test, and production of hydraulic, fuel, or fire‑protection systems. Lead quote and bid kickoff activities, providing technical input and estimates. Perform supplier coordination and technical oversight, including preparation of specifications and statements of work. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • The selected candidate must possess an active Interim Secret clearance to start.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior technical team experience related to the development of aircraft hydraulic systems
  • Experience with defense / aerospace industry supplier management
  • Experience troubleshooting faults on complex systems
  • Experience running Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) program
  • Experience with any of the following industry analysis tools: Amesim MATLAB CATIA V5 or V6
