Systems Engineer (Fluids) - Level 2
About The Position
You will be the Systems Engineer (Fluids) - Level 2 for the Fluid and Mechanical Systems Team which is responsible for supporting the F‑35 program. As the Systems Engineer (Fluids) - Level 2 you will be responsible for delivering reliable hydraulic, fuel, and fire‑protection system solutions throughout production, testing, and field operations. Requirements
- MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- The selected candidate must possess an active Interim Secret clearance to start.
- Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering
Nice To Haves
- Prior technical team experience related to the development of aircraft hydraulic systems
- Experience with defense / aerospace industry supplier management
- Experience troubleshooting faults on complex systems
- Experience running Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) program
- Experience with any of the following industry analysis tools: Amesim MATLAB CATIA V5 or V6
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system architecture layouts for fluid subsystems.
- Coordinate with supporting suppliers to ensure technical requirements are met.
- Support development, test, and production of hydraulic, fuel, or fire‑protection systems.
- Lead quote and bid kickoff activities, providing technical input and estimates.
- Perform supplier coordination and technical oversight, including preparation of specifications and statements of work.
