About The Position

As a Systems & Applications Administrator, you move beyond desktop support to manage the overarching health and security of our entire Microsoft 365 cloud-centric ecosystem. Your role is focused on the centralized governance, administration, and security of enterprise business applications. Acting as the primary administrative authority, you will bridge the gap between technical infrastructure and business operations. You will lead the effort to identify and document a decentralized landscape of existing systems, transitioning the organization into a centrally governed, scalable, and audit-able administration model. This role is not an end-user help desk position; rather, it is a high-level stewardship role designed to ensure system integrity, security, and operational discipline.

Requirements

  • Advanced Experience: 5 – 8 years of experience in enterprise systems administration, with a proven track record of managing complex business platforms (ServiceTitan, CRM, or ERP experience is highly preferred).
  • Technical Versatility: Proficiency with APIs, cloud environments (Intune/M365), and an understanding of ITIL or similar formal governance frameworks.
  • Security Focus: A deep understanding of identity management (Entra ID/M365) and a commitment to enforcing segregation of duties and audit-ready access controls.
  • Strategic Problem-Solving: The ability to look at technical issues through a business lens, identifying the root cause of systemic problems and implementing permanent, scalable solutions.
  • High-Level Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical risks and infrastructure needs into actionable insights for non-technical business stakeholders.
  • Documentation Mindset: The ability to take a "blank slate" environment and build structure through meticulous documentation of data flows, configurations, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Centralized Administration: Serve as the "Global Admin" for core enterprise platforms (such as ServiceTitan, HRIS, and ERP/Accounting systems), managing configurations, user roles, and permissions using least-privilege and Role-Based Access security principles.
  • System Discovery & Inventory: Conduct a comprehensive audit of all current tools, integrations, and administrative access points to create the organization’s first formal system governance framework.
  • Integration Oversight: Manage the "connective tissue" of the company by overseeing APIs, third-party integrations, and data exchanges, ensuring they are secure and efficient.
  • Process Engineering: Develop and maintain the master repository of technical documentation, standardizing how onboarding, offboarding, and system updates are executed across the company. You will plan, test, and document all system changes and updates to ensure zero-to-minimal business disruption. Leading the technical side of the Change Advisory Board (CAB).
  • Vendor & Vendor Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact for external vendors and service providers, ensuring that our hosted systems integrate seamlessly and meet service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Advanced Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for complex system/application issues; partner with IT Support, Infrastructure, Security, and business stakeholders to restore service and prevent recurrence.
