About The Position

The Enterprise Applications Administrator is responsible for the functional administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of GMF’s enterprise software ecosystem—including CRM platforms, financial/ERP systems, marketing technology, communication and collaboration tools, grants management systems, and other enterprise applications. This role blends enterprise application administration, IT project management, and business analysis, ensuring that systems are reliable, secure, scalable, and effectively aligned with organizational needs. The Administrator plays a critical part in software evaluation, implementation, process optimization, data integrity, and cross-departmental solution design.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in enterprise application administration, systems management, or related IT roles.
  • Strong project management experience, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Experience administering CRM systems, financial/ERP systems, and collaboration platforms.
  • Ability to analyze workflows, gather requirements, and design system configurations.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and modern system connectivity methods.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver timely results in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • PMI certifications (CAPM, PMP, or equivalent) preferred.
  • CRM platform certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrator for GMF’s enterprise applications across CRM, ERP/finance, grants management, e-commerce, marketing platforms, collaboration tools, and related systems.
  • Install, configure, update, and maintain enterprise software, modules, and integrations.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, roles, and application access controls.
  • Perform routine system health checks, data quality monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Provide advanced, escalated support for complex tickets from the service desk
  • Lead and manage IT projects including software evaluations, application upgrades, new system implementations, enhancements, and cleanup initiatives.
  • Create and maintain project plans, schedules, documentation, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate communication among vendors, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Oversee testing, training, deployment, and post-implementation review phases.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Partner with departments to gather requirements, document business processes, and identify opportunities for workflow improvement or system optimization.
  • Develop functional specifications and translate business needs into technical configurations or project scopes.
  • Evaluate system functionality to support business decisions and propose solutions or enhancements.
  • Collaborate with data specialists to track KPIs and create recurring or ad-hoc performance reports.
  • Support and maintain integrations across enterprise systems using APIs, webhooks, and automation tools.
  • Work with vendors and internal teams to ensure integrations are stable, secure, and well-documented.
  • Participate in automation initiatives using platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Create and maintain documentation including system guides, configuration logs, process workflows, and user knowledge base articles.
  • Provide training to staff on enterprise applications, new features, and best practices.
  • Contribute to organizational data governance and application-related policy development.
