About The Position

Foxhole Technology provides robust cybersecurity and IT support capabilities for federal civilian and defense agencies, delivering mission-focused innovations. The company is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join a team of information assurance professionals supporting a critical Government program. This role involves managing daily system administration tasks, maintaining system integrity, and ensuring security compliance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience, a strong problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, high-security setting. The position includes administration and maintenance of Linux-based servers (RHEL), supporting enterprise-level services like Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPOs, implementing system updates and antivirus measures, managing user accounts, contributing to RMF-compliant security controls, assisting with ATO/IATT packages and eMASS entries, performing system monitoring and troubleshooting, maintaining detailed records, supporting data backup, operating cybersecurity tools such as HBSS, ACAS, and SIEM platforms, and collaborating with various IT teams.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance with Eligibility for TS.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator supporting Windows and Linux.
  • Current DoD 8140/(8570) IAT Level II approved certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+ CE).
  • Strong customer interaction skills with users of all levels.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skill.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administration and maintenance of Linux-based servers (RHEL), ensuring system reliability and uptime.
  • Support enterprise-level services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
  • Implement system updates, patches, and antivirus measures in accordance with DoD STIGs and IAVM policies.
  • Manage user accounts and access permissions following established security standards.
  • Contribute to the deployment and oversight of RMF-compliant security controls.
  • Assist with documentation and sustainment of ATO/IATT packages and eMASS entries.
  • Perform system monitoring, log analysis, and root cause troubleshooting of hardware/software issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of configurations, system changes, and procedures.
  • Support regular data backup and restoration processes.
  • Operate and maintain cybersecurity tools such as HBSS, ACAS, and SIEM platforms.
  • Collaborate with IT teams across networking, cybersecurity, and support desks to ensure secure, compliant system functionality.
