Requirements

  • An active NSA TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Mid-level experience in Windows and Linux server system administration (minimum 1 year with each OS).
  • Proven experience in VMware architecture administration.
  • Strong understanding of both physical and virtual servers.
  • Solid application administration and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Security+ certification.
  • Ten (10) years of experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Alternatively, five (5) years of additional SA experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hardware installation and cabling.
  • Familiarity with various monitoring tools.
  • Network experience including architecture, switch administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of AWS/VMs.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain our robust Linux and Windows servers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts for device hardening, patching, vulnerability remediation, and system monitoring across both Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Get involved in the action by climbing ladders to install and troubleshoot sensor devices, ensuring our physical infrastructure is top-notch.
  • Apply fixes, patches, and upgrades promptly to keep our systems running smoothly.
  • Diagnose and resolve server issues with precision and efficiency.
  • Administer customer accounts and provide top-tier support by assisting with escalated customer tickets.
  • Deploy advanced monitoring tools and applications to enhance system performance and reliability.
