About The Position

We are seeking a Systems Administrator IV (SA4) to support the MCCOG program in Philadelphia, PA. The selected candidate will serve as a senior-level systems administrator responsible for leading enterprise system administration efforts, ensuring system security, performance, and availability across complex environments. This role includes oversight of system architecture, advanced troubleshooting, and technical leadership.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Master’s degree in information technology , Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 10 years of systems administration experience
  • Extensive experience managing Windows and/or Linux enterprise environments
  • IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting NAVSEA or Navy environments
  • Advanced experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Experience with enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies and RMF processes
  • IAM Level I or higher certification preferred
  • Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and documentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead administration and maintenance of Windows and Linux enterprise environments.
  • Oversee system installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades across multiple environments.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and availability.
  • Implement advanced system security controls in compliance with DoD and Navy requirements.
  • Ensure systems meet RMF, STIG, and SRG compliance requirements.
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex system and infrastructure issues.
  • Manage user access, permissions, and identity management solutions.
  • Oversee backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level administrators.
  • Coordinate with network, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to support mission requirements.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, policies, and procedures.
