About The Position

As a Systems Administrator I, you will be responsible for the reliability and security of our end‑user computing environment across Windows, macOS, mobile devices, warehouse handhelds, and supporting endpoint systems. You’ll leverage our Endpoint Management platforms (Intune and Jamf), enforce policy and configuration standards, support patching and software deployments, and keep our device ecosystem stable and well-documented. You’ll work closely with Security, Helpdesk, Identity, and Infrastructure teams to strengthen our endpoint posture and streamline operations. This role demands sharp troubleshooting, clear communication, and a drive to simplify and scale how we manage devices. Beyond endpoint management, you’ll also have opportunities to work with our collaboration stack—supporting and improving Teams, Amazon Connect, and contributing to AWS systems administration where skills and interest align.

Requirements

  • Experience managing Windows and macOS endpoints using modern Endpoint Management platforms such as Intune and Jamf.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across device, application, and configuration issues, with the ability to dig into root causes and drive clear resolutions.
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell and Bash, with the ability to read, modify, or write scripts to automate tasks and streamline operations.
  • Solid understanding of device security fundamentals, including compliance policies, configuration baselines, identity‑centric access, and modern management principles.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration, especially Teams policies, device impacts, and user/service troubleshooting.
  • Clear, confident communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Strong organizational habits—you document what you build, keep work structured in work management systems, and drive tasks to completion.
  • A process‑improvement mindset, always looking for ways to simplify, standardize, and reduce operational load.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, IAM, S3, networking, monitoring).
  • Exposure to Amazon Connect administration or contact‑center operations.
  • Industry certifications (Jamf 100/200; MD‑102; AZ/SC series; AWS Cloud Practitioner).
  • Knowledge of Android/iOS device management nuances or warehouse device workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support Intune and Jamf across Windows, macOS, mobile devices, and warehouse handhelds.
  • Maintain and improve device policies, compliance rules, and configuration standards.
  • Oversee enrollment, health, lifecycle settings, and deployment readiness for all endpoints.
  • Lead OS and application patch cycles for Windows and macOS.
  • Package and deploy software through Intune and Jamf with a focus on stability and simplicity.
  • Act quickly on security‑driven updates and vulnerability remediation.
  • Use PowerShell and Bash to automate tasks, streamline configurations, and resolve complex issues.
  • Maintain organized script libraries and look for opportunities to reduce manual workload.
  • Serve as an escalation point for advanced endpoint and configuration problems.
  • Support and enhance our collaboration stack—Microsoft Teams and Amazon Connect—including policy/config updates, integrations, and troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to AWS administration (e.g., EC2, IAM, S3, monitoring), assist with environment hygiene and automation, and help align endpoint needs with cloud services.
  • Partner with Infrastructure and App teams on integrations between endpoints, Teams, Amazon Connect, and AWS to improve reliability and user experience.
  • Produce clear runbooks, KB articles, and operational documentation.
  • Use ServiceNow and Azure DevOps to manage work, track tasks, and keep backlog items moving.
  • Partner across Security, Helpdesk, Identity, and Infrastructure to improve processes and strengthen endpoint security.
  • Execute on all other duties as assigned.
