Additional information about the company can be found online at www.bwpipelines.com. We are currently looking for a System Planning Engineer for our Owensboro, KY office. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Use pipeline simulation tools to determine incremental facility designs for Boardwalk Pipelines. Develop, request, and review cost estimates for incremental facilities. Provide support for FERC filings associated with new facilities or services. Utilize data analytics & data science to improve system designs and develop forecasts for business needs. Development of automated processes and systems to improve system hydraulic modeling. Determine and approve firm pipeline capacity for Boardwalk Pipelines and evaluate firm capacity impact of scheduled and unscheduled facility outages. Review feasibility of operational improvements in conjunction with proposed expansions. Provide direct assistance with maintenance planning, including operational support to Gas Control management.

Requirements

• Strong technical aptitude and computer skills
• Effective communication skills to interact cross-functionally
• Good interpersonal skills to work in team environment

Nice To Haves

• 2 or more years of engineering experience, including energy industry
• Data analytics and data science aptitude
• Computer/hydraulic modeling experience
