Shriners Children's New England has a part-time opportunity for a System Motion Analysis Center Physical Therapist (SMAC PT) This position reports directly to the Corporate Director of MACs and provides oversight to operations, accreditations, projects, and MAC PTs within their region. The pay range for this position is $37.45 - $56.17/hourly. Compensation is determined based on relevent experience and department equity. Hours: This position will work 20 hours per week on day shift.

Requirements

  • BS
  • Physical Therapy Licensure

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of motion lab experience
  • 5+ years of pediatric experience
  • DPT

Responsibilities

  • Implementation of clinical standards and maintaining accreditations of MACs within their region.
  • Works with a multidisciplinary team within their region to design and implement individualized evaluations to meet the needs of the pediatric patients and their family
  • Functions as a leader by providing mentorship and education to MAC PTs, MAC Coordinators, students and other professionals within their region
  • Leads and/or collaborates with Development Specialists, MAC PTs, coordinators and System SMAC Engineers to develop local clinical projects, performance improvement projects and research protocols
  • Maintains current knowledge in changes related to scope of practice, coding/billing practices, and compliance with documentation
  • Works with other System leaders to standardize clinical processes across the system
  • Maintains a caseload and demonstrates effectiveness and efficiency with their time
