System Administrator - Level II (DHA - BAMC)
About The Position
Deploy, sustain and troubleshoot new or existing server operating systems and related infrastructure software and hardware. Administers day-to-day sustainment, integrity, security and availability of infrastructure platforms. Perform daily system backups, performance monitoring, capacity analysis, and maintain security posture of infrastructure systems. Creates standard operating procedures, maintenance guides, and knowledge base articles to ensure proper documentation is established for the operational upkeep of the infrastructure platforms. Level II performs more varied and difficult tasks compared to Level I.
Requirements
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
- Federal Background Investigation Required: Tier 3 (T3)
- IT Security Designation: ADP/IT II
- Four (4) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent.
- IA Technical/Management Designation: IAT II and CE
- IAT-II Certification
- CCNA – Security Certification
- SSCP Certification
- CySA+ Certification
- Security+ CE Certification
- GICSP Certification
- GSEC Certification
- Linux+ Certification
- MCITP: 2008 Server Administrator Certification
- Oracle 10G DBA Certification
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Certification
