DGM is currently looking for a System Administrator II to provide advanced technical support and leadership in managing DGM’s IT infrastructure. This role acts as the first escalation point with responsibility for servers, networks, security, and cloud platforms. The administrator ensures system uptime, security compliance, and user satisfaction by proactively monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementing IT solutions. This position also participates in infrastructure projects, disaster recovery planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a results-driven IT professional with experience in systems administration, IT infrastructure, and enterprise support. They possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for leveraging technology to support business needs. Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Azure, or Cisco CCNA are highly valued. The candidate thrives in dynamic environments, is adaptable, and demonstrates ownership, accountability, and collaboration.

  • Serve as an escalation point with responsibility for servers, networks, security, and cloud platforms.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and file/print services.
  • Manage and end user support Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, OneDrive) and Azure Active Directory environments.
  • Monitor system performance, network connectivity, and security compliance using tools such as Fortinet, Bitdefender, and other compliance related applications.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend IT infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Implement infrastructure upgrades, including patching, backups, and resource optimization.
  • Deploy and maintain services in Windows, virtualized, and containerized environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting.
  • Provide incident resolution, problem determination, and root-cause analysis.
  • Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.
  • Document processes, maintain technical knowledge base, and coach junior IT staff.
  • Complete small projects, infrastructure deployments, and system migrations according to deadlines.
  • Maintain SSL certificates, domain registrations, and system security standards.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on IT activities and performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in system administration and IT infrastructure support.
  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, networking, and endpoint security tools.
  • Knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), cloud platforms, and automation.
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Proficiency in network security, firewall administration, VPN technologies, and incident response.
  • Demonstrated experience in problem management and escalation support.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and influence across teams.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to confidentiality, quality of work, and continuous learning.
  • Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
  • Certifications preferred: CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Azure (Fundamentals, AI, or Security), Cisco CCNA, or equivalent.
