About The Position

VTG is seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer who is primary front-facing contact for Agentforce deployments, by defining and steering the Agentic AI strategy and roadmap for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce Agentforce best practices and the ability to translate business requirements into effective Salesforce solutions. This is a full-time (direct hire) position offering a salary and comprehensive benefits package. This position may be a hybrid role - work is performed either remote with permission from management or on-site at client HQ in Arlington, VA.

Requirements

  • Must have 3-7 years of experience
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator with a strong understanding of the Salesforce Platform including Experience Cloud
  • Experience leading and overseeing deployments of AI/LLM technologies, including end-to-end engagement management
  • Experience with LLM prompting (chatGPT, Claude, etc) through professional or personal use
  • Understanding of prompt builder including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a small dev team, larger contract team, and broadly as a contributing member of our corporate professional services unit
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions
  • A self-starter with strong organizational skills
  • A creative problem-solver with a passion for learning
  • Team-oriented and adaptable to quick pivots and changing priorities
  • Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office 365 product suite with focus on Excel
  • Must have and maintain a Secret level clearance

Nice To Haves

  • 4-year technical degree
  • Experience developing conversational AI solutions within regulated industries or highly sensitive environments (e.g., healthcare, finance)
  • Salesforce platform certifications (e.g., Administrator, Data Cloud Consultant, Agentforce Specialist)
  • Experience with AI/ML concepts beyond LLMs, such as natural language processing

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive oversight for the successful deployment of Agentforce solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing customer infrastructure
  • Design, develop, and orchestrate personal assistant agents and autonomous agents to enhance our internal processes and workflows
  • Lead discussions around Agentic AI strategy and road mapping for customers
  • Drive the adoption of foundational Responsible AI principles, including risk mitigation, bias and toxicity testing, and the setup of robust guardrails to ensure ethical and safe AI usage
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are equipped to utilize Salesforce effectively
  • Maintain all current certifications via Trailhead's maintenance exams
  • Acquire additional Salesforce certifications as required, minimum of 1 additional certification attained per performance period
