A caregiver in this position works days, Monday - Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Two years of experience in information systems
  • Experience supporting mid-size workstations and server environments
  • Experience with personal computer architecture, interface components and telephone systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of information systems and small to mid- size (100-700 node ) networks

Responsibilities

  • Ensure workstations and peripherals are maintained at the highest level of availability and reliability.
  • Handle LAN administration, installations, email administration, consulting services and problem resolution.
  • Assist caregivers and management in making Information Systems investments and decisions.
  • Consult on desktop applications and configurations to improve employee productivity.
  • Troubleshoot software, hardware, network protocols, workstation and departmental server-related problems.
  • Provide second level diagnostic Help Desk support for hardware, software and operating systems.
  • Act as the primary contact for ongoing support requirements including all hardware components.
  • Coordinate workstation purchase decisions based on enterprise standards.
  • Recommend, design, build and s upport PC workstations.
  • Build and maintain detailed workstation documentation including configuration of desktop software and impact of additions, deletions or upgrades to the workstation .
