About The Position

Define, design, and implement network communications and solutions within a fast-paced, leading edge database/applications company. Responsible for creating and implementing system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system. Manage the load configurations of a central data communication processor and make recommendations for purchase or upgrade of data networks. Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data consists of an evaluation of intangibles. May telecommute. (385.35106) Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a System Administrator-related occupation. Position requires: 1. Administration and configuration of Oracle Fusion Middleware, WebLogic, SOA suite, and Portal and Identity Management suite; 2. Administration of Fusion Applications or E-business suite; 3. Managing Oracle databases: installation, upgrade, patching, cloning, backup, and recovery; 4. Troubleshooting skills for Oracle database, Oracle eBusiness Suite, and Oracle Fusion Applications, as well as Fusion middleware; 5. Performance tuning and techniques: SGA tuning, DB tuning, apps tuning, tkprof, or AWR; 6. Linux and Unix including commands and shell scripting and Python Coding; 7. Oracle Disaster Recovery; 8. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architecture and Design and Administration; 9. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure AI, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Migrations, and Oracle Grid Infrastructure; 10. Oracle Autonomous Database; 11. Dockers and Kubernetes; 12. Oracle Cloud Networking and Security Implementation; 13. Professional Scrum Master; 14. Oracle Exadata and Exalogic; and, 15. DEVOPS CI/CD and Terraform.

Requirements

  • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.
