About The Position

Join us in our fast-paced support to develop, advance, and sustain weapon systems for the U.S. Space Force (USSF) and its mission partners. You will be joining a team of personnel with experience and an in-depth understanding of the environments that include ground, near-space, space, and any system that operates in those environments to meet current and projected strategic, operational, and tactical needs for the Department of Defense (DoD). QinetiQ is a mission-led innovation company that works with the USSF and DoD to design, develop, field, and maintain requirements essential to national security and the survivability of the war-fighter. We are seeking SysML Modeling Integrators with experience in building SysML models and languages including expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). The ideal candidate will have familiarity with USSF and SSC acquisition and space control systems engineering processes and procedures. This position requires an individual who can work closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and partners to ensure program success. The salary range for this role is 120,000 - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Requirements

  • 7 years of SysML Modeling Integration support experience as well as specific MBSE-related experience with space systems
  • Experience in MBSE tool such as SysML, UML, Cameo System Modeler, Envovia, Catia Systems Engineer, and/or 3DX
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience with space system operational KPIs
  • Active TS/SCI with willingness to take a CI polygraph

Nice To Haves

  • 10 years of experience with USSF SSC preferred
  • Current CI polygraph
  • Certifications in MBSE tool competencies
  • Completed training certificates in relevant MBSE coursework
  • Certifications in INCOSE CSEP or ESEP

Responsibilities

  • Support USSF and Space Systems Command acquisition and space control systems engineering processes and procedures
  • Provide systems engineering support services including Systems Engineering Life-cycle and Systems Engineering "Vee" model of system development
  • Provide various forms of performance metrics and benchmarks
