About The Position

This is a full-time position. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm. The ground/locomotive operator is responsible for the safe movement of locomotives in and around the Mayfield facility. Requirements

Operation of heavy equipment preferred
Mechanical aptitude
Proven ability to work safely with minimal supervision
Able to complete work functions with minimal direction
Must have strong communication skills
Previous experience operating larger heavy equipment preferred

Responsibilities

Communicate by radio with operator, ground person, supervisors/lead
Operation of track switches
Operate forklifts to empty bins when not moving locomotives
Read and understand written and oral work instructions
Able to prioritize workload based on shop needs
Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with PRS safety policies
