About The Position

We are seeking a dependable Switchboard Assembler to join our team on 1st shift. This role is responsible for assembling steel enclosures and components using a variety of tools and mechanical drawings. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hand and power tools, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements

• Experience using hand tools (wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, torque wrenches, etc.)
• Experience with air-powered and electric tools (drills, nailers, band saws, etc.)
• Ability to read and understand blueprints/mechanical drawings
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs consistently
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to communicate effectively in English

Responsibilities

• Assemble steel enclosures using steel, fiberglass, and copper components
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings (blueprints) to complete assemblies
• Use hand tools, air tools, and power tools to complete builds
• Measure and verify parts using a tape measure with accuracy
• Maintain quality and safety standards throughout the assembly process
