The Swiss Screw Equipment Operator role requires a full-time commitment, with specific shifts that may vary in accordance with production demands. WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL? As a Swiss Screw Equipment Operator, you will set up and operate Escomatic Swiss-type screw machines, ensuring precise alignment of workpieces and tooling. You will be tasked with reading engineering drawings and work instructions to program machines using G-code while optimizing parameters for both efficiency and quality. Throughout your workday, you will carry out various machining operations, including turning, milling, drilling, threading, and deburring. Attention to detail is essential as you monitor the machining processes, making necessary adjustments to uphold high quality standards. You will also identify and troubleshoot any machining issues that may arise and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to address them. Documentation of production logs and inspection records will be part of your responsibilities, as will participation in continuous improvement efforts to enhance safety and productivity within the workplace.
