Requirements

3+ years screw man experience preferred.
Well-rounded knowledge of all types of paving equipment and paving operations a plus.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Dependable transportation to and from work.
No felonies that are violent in nature and/or theft related in the last 7 years.
Comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements.
Travel may be required when needed.
Must be physically healthy to stand, bend, and walk for up to 10-12 hours a day.

Responsibilities

Monitors the flow of material being laid by the paving machine.
Makes adjustments for thickness and width of asphalt paving.
Responsible for monitoring the material run quantities.
Performs a variety of other tasks associated with paving operations including job site labor duties.
Participates in cross training activities.
Operates all equipment and tools according to safety procedures and performs all manual labor activities in a safe manner.
Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
Brings problems to the attention of the foreman.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Regardless of other duties, has a responsibility to follow HALL Contracting of Kentucky’s safety, and quality procedures.
