About the role HealthFitness is looking for Swim Instructors to join our aquatics team at a vibrant community client site in West Hartford, CT! This on‑call/substitute role is ideal for students, recent grads, or anyone looking for flexible work that fits around school, another job, or an active lifestyle. You’ll jump in as needed to help teach, motivate, and keep swimmers safe when our regular instructors are out. Requirements

Must be at least 17 years old.
Adult & Child CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
Must have a strong swim background.
Proficiency in all swim strokes.

Nice To Haves

Water Safety Instructor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing effective and safe swim instruction to adults and children participating in private or small group lessons.
Design individualized programs to meet the participant's interests, abilities, and goals.
